What is a funeral plan?

Pre-paid funeral plans are a popular way to take care of funeral arrangements in advance so loved ones won’t have to worry about deciding on what type of funeral you would have wanted. You also protect them from having to finding the money to pay for the funeral at the time. And as you pay at today’s prices, you’re also protecting against rising prices.

A prepaid funeral plan includes the essential elements of a funeral. A plan lets you select the key funeral arrangements in advance. We have a choice of plans that allow you to have a cremation or a burial funeral. You can choose the type of coffin, how many limousines you want (if any) as well as note any special requests for flowers, songs or readings. Or if you don’t want the fuss of a traditional funeral, a simple low-fuss direct cremation might be for you.

Plans can be paid for in a lump sum, or in monthly instalments so you can choose a payment option to suit your budget. 

Then, when the time comes, just one call to our 24/7 bereavement line will put the plan into motion. We will inform your Funeral Director, who will provide support and guidance to your family and make the arrangements you have chosen in your funeral plan.

You can buy a prepaid funeral for yourself or for someone else. Many of our plans are purchased for spouses or parents for peace of mind and to ensure the plan holder can plan their own funeral arrangements.
